Llanfairpwllgwyngyll or Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll (.mw-parser-output .IPA-label-smallfont-size:85%.mw-parser-output .references .IPA-label-small,.mw-parser-output .infobox .IPA-label-small,.mw-parser-output .navbox .IPA-label-smallfont-size:100%Welsh: [ɬan.ˌvair.puɬˈɡwɨ̞n.ɡɨ̞ɬ]), often shortened to Llanfairpwll and sometimes to Llanfair PG, is a village and community on the Isle of Anglesey, Wales. It is located on the Menai Strait, next to the Britannia Bridge. At the 2011 Census the population was 3,107,[3] of whom 71% could speak Welsh.[4] In 2021, the population decreased to 2,900 (rounded to the nearest 100).[5] It is the sixth largest settlement in the county by population.
