An elective, world language is not required beyond one year of study at MNHS, although it is highly encouraged for college admissions. The course is an academic subject with all the added rigor of completing the class in another tongue and the teachers joined in the ceremony to acknowledge those students who excel in Spanish studies and persist in the sequence to graduation.
