I'm thinking that the legion will definitely outperform the apple, but the legion is a gaming machine and while that is nice for coding to, i doubt the battery will last. I also like putting up a dual boot with Linux, much better for coding on Linux, but Mac Unix is already there. Mac is so far winning.
