the main issue is that the reason to use affinity publisher as opposed to libreoffice to create complex form is to take advantage of the powerful design tools that allow to deal with complex layouts, I have a large forms with dozens of fields and everytime that a change is made to the layout i required, all the form fields need to be recreated on the pdf, this is a time consuming task. unfortunately no pdf editor have the layout and design features that affinity publisher have (layers and layer groups per page, styles etc), would be great if you implement a feature request option with a voting system and a public roadmap for development, that would give some peace of mind to customers and staff
