MusicBee is superior to iTunes because it also works with Groove Music, podcasts, web radio stations, Soundcloud integrations, logarithmic volume scaling, theme support, etc. You can sync your playlist, podcast, and audio books in two ways and convert audio formats on the fly. But keep in mind MusicBee is not available on macOS, and if transferring data is what you want, you'd better resort to other alternatives to iTunes.
