Its odd that you say 4 sticks of RAM could add congestion, the user manual says that 16GB is minimum and 32GB recommended. I was planning to use an old build (case, CPU, RAM 6x Sata ports), unfortunately lost a 4 bay drive cage for it (4 left), but I thought it would be better to use my 4 drive bays in my O11 dynamic. I will backup and clone the OS to the other drive, and probably to my SSD. Then I can break the array down and test your theory. At this point the OS install is the importart part as installing that to a non-SSD and the clones (and data partition needing to be restored after cloning which is what takes time).
