I would say first thing do not worry about controls in LB/BB. Get your controls in RetroArch set up first. I would recommend anytime you add a new emulator and games set the emulator up first outside of Launchbox/BigBox before you add it. Make sure your controls there work, your games play, and the emulator is set up right.
