I hope someone else has experienced what I am with several Windows 2012R2 RDS Hosts and the LocalSessionManager / Operational log: No matter how the log properties are changed via GPO (registry edits as there are no templates for these logs) or in the GUI the log will not grow over 1MB. This is a major PITA as we are using this as part of our COVID-19 response plan read and processed by a powershell application I wrote. I am at the point of pulling off the logs daily to keep a record but with 10 hosts serving RDS it would be preferable to read the logs when necessary without the upfront processing efforts for logs that may never be used.
