It is revealed in "Mysterion Rises" that Kenny possesses a superpower - an inability to die. He (as Mysterion) reveals to Captain Hindsight that he can sometimes see "a bright light", "Heaven", or "Hell". However, it is also revealed that nobody can remember him dying by the next day, even if they had seen him get decapitated with their own eyes. This would suggest that Kenny is fully aware of his deaths, but nobody else is. "Coon vs. Coon & Friends", in a desperate plea to his friends to try remember his death, Mysterion shoots himself in the head twice, but to no avail.
