Ever since the original you've been able to soar higher, grind for longer, and crash harder than any human ever could, but with cheats you can take those last remaining shreds of realism and toss them out the window for pure fantasy fun. While there are a couple cheats you can mess around with right off the bat in the new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 remake, there are more you can unlock through the game itself, plus the assists that are basically cheats themselves.
