Tony Hawk's successful career and entrepreneurial endeavors have not only secured his own financial future but also allowed him to give back to the community. In 2002, he founded the Tony Hawk Foundation, now known as The Skatepark Project, with a mission to promote skateboarding and create safe and legal skateparks across the United States. To date, the foundation has contributed to more than 596 skatepark projects, supporting young skaters and communities nationwide.
