After a recent re-watch of Hannibal (the NBC show based on the Thomas Harris books, not the terrible movie) I got thinking about the 7 deadly sins since, in the third season, Hannibal talks a lot about Dante, The Divine Comedy, and by extension, the 7 deadly sins.
