I installed skype for linuxthen copied skypes libffmpeg.so to opera with the following command.sudo cp /usr/share/skypeforlinux/libffmpeg.so /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/opera/libffmpeg.soRestart Opera. Videos now play on Opera.
