During the Raid at World Marshal in 2016, Monsoon sent the modified RAY after the Brazilian swordsman Samuel Rodrigues as a "test" regarding the latter's combat abilities. After managing to destroy it, Steven Armstrong then invited Sam to the roof of World Marshal HQ for a final battle.
