@WCS Thanks for the idea (it was mentioned previously in the thread). That workaround is maybe ok if you are giving out something free ("download my free guide", etc) and you are actually advertising a service, but when you are an ecommerce site and the PDF is the product you are selling, hosting it as a link to google drive isn't the most secure or professional looking way of selling products. And although it may only be a few extra clicks, those additional steps can be enough to confuse customers who are used to just downloading the PDF directly on most other sites (including Squarespace previously!) and it just works. You'd be surprised how many customers don't even realise how to download the PDF's in the simple click-the-email-link way already - we even see this on Etsy, where customers email us asking how they download the product they've just purchased. Many people are not as computer literate as you might think in the current day and age.
