A dragon will not hatch or evolve while sick, even if it has met its minimum growth time and met 100% of its Care Quotient. However, a dragon under these conditions will evolve once they are cured (with leeway of about 3 minutes for the dragon to update properly, during which it can be trained, cared for, or made sick again).
