Hector: My fail. My dad was a doctor, and I always wanted to be like my dad. I guess it's kind of like an aspiration you're trying to chase. And I lasted a year in medical school, and my dad would be the first person to tell me, Hector, "I don't think this is exactly for you - I appreciate it, but I don't think you have it in you." This is truly vocational, man. Being a doctor is almost like being a priest. You have to be in it in body, soul and mind and everything. And he was 100% right. The first all nighter that I did studying and barely passed the test, I was like, this is not worth it, man. There were some classes, that I was into it. And then there were others that I couldn't complete. And it's like, there's no way. You cannot be good at anatomy and fail chemistry or pharmacology. You have to excel at all of them. So anyway, I quickly realized that being a doctor was not going to be for me. So I ended up studying international commerce with that focus of one day being able to emigrate and move to the US.
