I am not at all sure, but it sounds a little like the English idiom "you reap what you sow." In other words, you will experience consequences in the future for the things you do now. Our idiom technically allows for either good to result in good consequences or bad actions to result in bad consequences; however, it is more commonly used to refer to people when they are currently suffering bad consequences for unwise actions in the past.
