I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling NEO Manager a couple times now on Windows 10, and also tried your helpful suggestions, Mahmud1, about scanning for new devices. It still wouldn't recognize my NEO2.
Perhaps d_b_cohen's idea of running Windows 7 in a virtual machine will do the trick!
One more clue that I have uncovered since this saga began is that Windows 10 Device Manager returns error messages with the "AlphaSmart Communication Driver" and not "NEO Manager." I can't seem to find "NEO Manager" after installing (and uninstalling) it repeatedly on Windows 10...only the outdated reference to the "AlphaSmart" driver...
