Thanks for confirming it works with Vista :-)
The Windows picture and fax viewer is the default for JPEGS. When you double click a JPEG wherever it is on your computer, you want it to open inside Photoshop instead ?
I've just tried to associate JPEG(JPG) files to open in CS4 but can't find a way.
CS4 will open, but no image file.
Seems to be an issue with CS4 as they can be set to open in other versions........
But I hate my JPEGS opening anywhere except the picture and fax viewer. Mainly because I don't want whatever program has ingratiated itself into the permissions list to open a photo, when all I want is to take a quick peek ;-)
To make it so that when double clicking a JPEG file inside Bridge to open in CS4, open Bridge. Go to Edit > Preferences > File Type Associations and scroll down to the JPEG entry. Click on the currently selected application and from the drop down, click on Adobe Photoshop CS4.
Click OK.
You're welcome Frank :-)
Maybe you should have used more descriptive names for the PSD files before this ;-))
