Popular literature is rife with stories of dragons co-existing with human beings. In some stories, dragons are able to communicate with humans through various means. In the Inheritance series, there is no dragon language as such, but Dragon Riders share a mental connection with their dragons and communicate with their thoughts. Another series in the fantasy genre, the Oescienne series, features a dragon language called Kruelt, or Draggish, which also has a dragon script corresponding to the English alphabet.
