The Schola Cantorum and the Taylor and Boody pipe organ lead the music at the Sunday 11:30 a.m. Mass. The Schola's repertoire includes works from the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary periods. Some previous musical training and choral experience are necessary as the Schola sings music from Gregorian chant to eight-part motets; sopranos, altos, countertenors, tenors, and basses are all needed. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings 10-11:15 a.m. immediately before the 11:30 a.m. Mass; special rehearsals are arranged when a large work must be prepared.
