Same issue for me, completely different project. C# during debugging of a command-line application, I am looking into an intercepted exception. Modal dialog appears. Then I continue (the exception is printed on the console output of the app, the app terminates, "Press any key to close the window" appears, execution and debugger appear to finish.
The studio 2022 UI seems blocked by some (invisible) window, and the workaround is to exist Studio and start it again (which takes lots of time cause I have 2 hundreds+ of projects in my solution).
