Dovecot is a POP/IMAP server that has its own configuration toauthenticate POP/IMAP clients. When the Postfix SMTP server usesDovecot SASL, it reuses parts of this configuration. Consult theDovecot documentation for howto configure and operate the Dovecot authentication server.
