Yamaha Recording customs are widely known as amazing drums. So are DW's. If you're happy with the finishes you can get the Yammy's in, and they have the sizes you want, there's very little (if any) sound difference. What difference there is, is more of a "personal preference" thing than an actual "quality" thing.
