Man alive, I thought Red Dead Redemption 2 looked stunning in ultrawide, but by golly, Geralt really does scrub up nicely, doesn't he? Of course, one of the best things about The Witcher III is its trees. So often in RPGs I find the world around me just feels a bit, well, dead inside. Like there's no soul or depth to it beneath its shiny veneer. Instead, it's just an empty void with a couple of people milling about in the corners, telling me to go and do this or that.
