One of the first majorly memorable creatures to appear within the lore of American Horror Story is the Infantata, who is showcased in Murder House. The Infantata is a reanimated baby, created by Charles Montgomery after he and his wife Nora's son Thaddeus was murdered as revenge for abortions Charles performed in the basement of the Murder House. The Infantata was made from the torn-apart remains of Thaddeus, and it is implied that Charles used an aborted fetus as well.
