Hi Kai, thanks for your suggestion. The new set of script uses this approach. Though it doesn't require splitting javaX.bat and javaX-JavaHome.bat anymore, as I have removed the javaversion-system.bat and javaversion-user.bat files and use a parameter instead to make the change permanent (see updated section "Temporary and Permanent Java Version Changes").
