My father is 75, and has always gotten the senior license. When he heard about it being canceled his first reaction, was o darn. But after all the coverage of the budget cuts and lack of funding, he is very supportive of it. Yea he'll have to pay a couple bucks extra, but I wouldn't mind them raising the license fees for all either. I know that the dnr is in a dire situation, and penny pinching anglers isn't gonna get them out of it. Although at the same time, I don't think it should all rely on the money coming from the buyers. Like the lottery money that the dnr gets, thats great, but they could definetley use a bigger percentage of the proceeds!
