TKA's chapter of the Socit Honoraire de Franais recognizes outstanding scholarship in the study of French and promotes activities around French language, literature, and culture for students with a strong interest. Another goal is to encourage friendship between people of different French-speaking countries and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with French speakers. Membership in this organization, sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF), is the highest honor for students of French in this country. Senior members will receive a special cord to wear at graduation.
