Acceptable "hands-on" input from humans includes initial software installation and configuration, applying software updates, and updating subscriber account information as needed. Routine certificate issuance and renewal SHOULD NOT involve human input except as needed for identity or business document verification related to IV, OV, or EV certificate issuance.
