With how many people they sold these pills to, it's unsurprising that in a short period of time Los Angeles is plagued by mobs of pale people, and they are eating anyone in their way. The chaos they cause is on par with the damage a group of zombie from 28 Days Later can do, as they ravage the city for their next meal. While they drink blood like vampires, how they feast is more in line with zombies, even if they cannot infect others.
