The episode begins with Lee, Clementine, Kenny, Katjaa, and Duck driving through downtown Macon, and stop the car. "We better look around." Kenny says to Lee. They exit the car and begin to walk down the streets. Lee looks up at the drugstore, which is called "Everett Pharmacy," and frowns. Duck alerts the group of someone by a car. Kenny yells for him and says their truck is out of gas. This person is revealed to be a walker. In the pharmacy, Jackson looks out the window and sees them, and a group of walkers falling down upon them. "Those guys are in trouble, we gotta help them!" Jackson shouts. Lilly is against the idea, saying they can't trust every single group they come across. Carley agrees with Jackson to go out there and save them, since it's the humane thing to do. Lilly argues that humanity isn't an option anymore, and surviving is the main goal. Sandy tells her that they have kids with them, and she begins to open the door to go help them, followed by Jackson and Carley. Meg shouts "be careful!" to her sister as she stands beside the open door. Back out on the street, Katjaa screams that they're trapped as Duck is attacked by a walker, and is almost bit, until Sandy shoots the walker in the head. Sandy and Carley both begin shooting some of the walkers to keep them off the group. Jackson guides Lee and the others into the pharmacy and locks the gate. "What the hell, we can't just keep bringing in new people!" Lilly screams at the group. "And we can't just let people die, either!" Sandy yells back at Lilly. Larry complains to the group that they need to be thrown out immediately. Lee tries to calm the situation down, while Kenny argues with Larry and Lilly. "Son of a bitch! One of them is bitten!" Larry says, referring to Duck. Lee informs him that he wasn't bitten, however, Larry doesn't believe him and goes over to Duck to end him before he turns. Kenny steps in between them, to prevent Larry from hurting his son. A fight begins to ensure, as Sandy and Meg attempt to intervene, but are told off by Larry to stay out of it, and ends up with Kenny punching Larry. Clementine screams, showing that a walker has broken out of the bathroom she was trying to get into, and tries to bite Clementine. Lee steps in and tries to fend off the walker, until it is shot in the head by Sandy. Sandy asks Lee if he's hurt, to which he says no and thanks her for the help. The walkers outside hear the shot and attempt to break into the pharmacy, until some gunshots are heard, which clears the walkers from the outside temporarily. "Is that the army?" Meg questions Lilly. Lilly isn't sure if it is or not. Larry criticizes Sandy on shooting the walker, and then has a small heart attack. "What's wrong with him?" Lee questions Lilly. Lilly tells Lee that it's his heart acting up, and they've been trying to get into the pharmacy since they got there. Lilly begs Lee to help her get in there to get some pills for Larry, which he agrees to. Kenny begins to take charge of the people in there, making sure the door has a guard, and everyone formally introduces themselves. Kenny compliments on Sandy's shooting, calling her a "good shot" and wants her to take watch, and she agrees. Jackson suggests running to a motor inn to get a car and running by the gas station to get some gas. Lee asks him if he knows the area well enough to search it, and Jackson informs him that he was born and raised in Macon. Before Jackson leaves, Meg hugs him and tells him to watch himself, and Jackson then sneaks out of the pharmacy to get the car and gas. An hour passes, and the survivors are still making sure everything they need is cleared out and the walkers don't detect their presence. Sandy goes over to Lilly and Larry to check on them. Lilly thanks Sandy for her concern and asks her to keep and eye on the new group, just in case they aren't to be trusted. Sandy, trusting of the new group, tells her that she shouldn't be worrying about it, since they're helping her with getting her dad his medicine. Lee is talking with Kenny and his family about the events that happened, and then about Shawn. Lee assures Kenny, who is feeling very guilty about his death, that it couldn't have been prevented. Lee talks with Clementine about how she was doing and gets to know Carley and Doug at different times. Carley, who is trying to figure out how to work the radio, asks Lee if he could find her some batteries for the radio. He does so, and fixes the radio for her. Lee and Sandy talk to each other and he asks about who she is and if she had any family with her. Sandy tells him that Meg is her younger sister, and they were both coming back from a road trip home to Atlanta when it all began. Lee then asks Sandy if they found anyone in the drug store when they got there. Sandy tells him that she and Meg weren't originally with Lilly and the others, but she heard Larry talking about dragging a few bodies from the backroom to the outside. Lee is shocked upon hearing this, as those bodies were his parents, Sandy notices his reaction to what she says and asks him if he's alright, to which he says he is. As he walks away, Sandy eyes at him suspiciously. Meg walks up to Sandy and asks her what she thinks of the people that joined them, and Sandy believes they're trustworthy enough, but feels like Lee is hiding something. Meg looks at him and says that she thought she recognized him, but couldn't remember from where. Sandy goes on by saying that she trusts them more than Lilly, but wants to continue being nice to Lilly so they do not get tossed outside. Meg agrees with her that it's smart to stay on her good side. Sandy goes over to Kenny and his family and offers Katjaa a candy bar for Duck, in case he was hungry. Katjaa is thankful for her concern, as well as Kenny, who asks her more information on Lilly and Larry. Sandy tells him that she and her sister, Meg, met them a few hours before they came to the pharmacy and confesses she doesn't like her or Larry. Sandy goes on by saying that Lilly strikes her as the type to only care for her father, and won't hesitate to leave anyone behind to get him to safety. Jackson suddenly responds to Clementine's walkie-talkie, wanting to talk to someone. Lee grabs the walkie-talkie and he tells Lee that he got into some trouble at the motor inn and needs some help getting out of there. "What should we do?" Kenny asks Lee. Lee tells Kenny that he should stay with his family, and that he'll go to the motor inn himself. Meg chimes in and says she's going to go with him, because Jackson is her friend. Sandy tells her that it's not safe for her to go, but Meg dismisses her and affirms that she's going with Lee. Sandy sighs and tells Lee that she's going as well to help out. Lee accepts both of their offers, and the three head out to retrieve Jackson.
