I do shoot raw 99% of the time as I realize how much more detail is available. When I said smaller , its size is smaller in MB than I use to have in the older program of 8 bit in the ACR 14.1 program. My camera is a Sony A7IV with 33 MP available.
Thanks everyone who has answered so far. I use jpg for sharing and viewing. But keep the different phases to get there most of the time.
