The next type of processor is RISC and these processors can acquire more lines of code and in turn will require more memory to do so as it needs to retain the assembly level or machine instructions. However RISC processors require less physical space on the die (small chip of silicone that everything is attached to more or less) and this means the die can be filled with more general registers. CISC on the other hand focuses on hardware or has more of an emphasis towards it, while RISC is orientated towards software. The most common processors which use RISC are PowerPC and ARM these can be found in most smartphones (ARM not PowerPC) and the PowerPC processor is from an older time circa 2003 but still has uses today.
