Transcribe.wreally.com has been designed with privacy in mind, ensuring that audio and video files used in self-transcription are played directly from the user's computer and are not uploaded anywhere. For auto-transcription, files are uploaded to servers for processing but are deleted shortly after. Text typed into the editor in self-transcribe is stored only in the user's browser and never leaves the computer. In contrast, machine transcripts from auto-transcribe are stored on servers but users have complete control to delete them. Additionally, for dictation, voice samples are sent to servers for speech recognition. The service uses PCI-compliant payment processors for secure handling of payment information, and analytics services are employed to improve user experience. Users' files from cloud services like Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive are accessed with read-only permission and processed according to the Data Retention Policy.
