While we cannot control what happens in the world, we can - and should - always strive to influence and change it for the better. That is the underlying premise of our purpose, and within PwC, we must continue to foster an environment that stands for inclusion, equality and allows people of all backgrounds to thrive and succeed in every territory across the network. We have examples of good work happening today, like the creation of a diversity & inclusion council at the staff level in the US to ensure perspectives from all levels are heard, or the Green Light to Talk efforts in the UK to remove the stigma around mental health, or us holding our Global LGBT+ summit in conjunction with Pride. Racism and discrimination of any kind, against any individual, has no place here.
