While the events of Five Nights at Freddy's 3 is the first in the series to not take place in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, the new setting, Fazbear's Fright, is designed to be a homage to the company and the horrific events that took place there, sporting many vintage decorations from the previous restaurants. The establishment from the first game, however, is seen in the form of the end-of-night minigames that are played between each night which show the building to have long been abandoned.
