Now you will be relying on Veeam to generate the traps. That is fine and good. You will need PRTG to be able to capture (trap) the snmp signal. There is also a community string for SNMP traps. That community string can be different than the SNMP query community string. Its good you loaded the veeam mibs into your trap monitor. That way you trap monitor will know what to call the trap when it receives it.
