7. Either on your PC or in Virtual Desktop use a command prompt (or setup a .bat file) to execute "X-plane --steam_vr" in your x-plane 11 folder. Strangely this does not start in vr mode (there maybe another switch?), but if you then select "Enable VR Hardware" in setting, the VR Hanger will appear and you are good to fly!
