Due to high demand, the Alameda County Clerk-Recorder's Office will be conducting a group wedding ceremony at 2:22PM on 2/22/22 for couples who would like to have their marriage solemnized on that date. The ceremony will be held outside (rain or shine) in front of the County Administration Building at 1221 Oak Street in Oakland. Participants are not required to RSVP and no fee will be charged for attending, but couples should obtain their marriage license by Friday, 2/18/22 at the latest. Following the group ceremony, marriage licenses will be collected from those in attendance. After the licenses are recorded, copies of any marriage certificates that had been ordered will be returned to couples through the mail. Questions may be sent to us at [email protected].
