As announced in July, the Latin Recording Academy will honor several Latin music icons during its annual Special Awards Presentation. Carmen Linares, Mijares, Arturo Sandoval, Simone, Soda Stereo, and Ana Torroja will receive this year's Lifetime Achievement Award. As well, Alex Acua, Gustavo Santaolalla and Wisn Torres will receive the Trustees Award.
