Now I hate the fat cartoon-like nature of the interface in 18.04 -- its like the screen resolution has been reduced (it is not, I checked.). It is a desktop not a 5" phone screen. It could have thin clean lines that speak to efficiency and precision when one has the precision of a mouse to navigate it. But I rant. You may not have upgraded fro different reasons.
