Once you know the code you want to input, press the correct sequence of buttons in quick succession while in-game. If the cheat was successful, you'll get a small pop-up in the left-hand corner of the screen as well as a brief audio cue. With that done, you'll be ready to enjoy whichever cheat you've entered.
